ABOUT ME

Hello, My name is Rosangela but you can call me Angie for short. I come from a small family with two very supportive parents and an amazing older brother. The family I created is a little more chaotic than that, but I wouldn’t change it for the world! It consists of myself (of course), my husband, two beautiful daughters, 2 doggies, and 4 kitties.

I am a permanent makeup artist based out of Sioux City, IA. My interest in permanent makeup started a few years ago, but I never believed I would be able to pursue it. Thanks to the support of my family, I finally decided I needed to take the first step and I booked a course with the Phi Academy. I took a live course in Chicago and continued my education online with my master Han Tran for 6 more months. It was one of the most challenging things I had ever done but also one of the most rewarding decisions I had ever made. Before Microblading I used to be very uninspired so I made the decision not to go to college until I figured what direction I wanted to take my life in.

After receiving my Phi Brows certificate I decided I wanted to start my own business and created Alchemy PMU Salon. The word alchemy holds many meanings but the one that inspired me was “A seemingly magical process of transformation, creation, or combination.” I like to believe I am a part of a transformation that enhances your natural beauty. After months of hard work I was finally able to open Alchemy on January 30, 2019. When the pandemic hit in 2020 I decided it was time to expand my business and I started Alchemy Beauty Collective. A space for other artists with similar visions to work independently. I was able to open my doors January 1st 2021. Soon after I started to offer my own training to new artists and that has been so rewarding! I am so excited to see this industry grow in the midwest! Now a few years later we have created Artifex Haus. An even bigger space for artists to create!

I plan to continue taking classes to perfect my work and learn new techniques from various artists. In 2024 I finally went for it and learned ear and nose piercings! I hope to expand my services in the future and offer a creative space for more talented individuals. For now, I am focusing on being the best version of myself!
