Hello, My name is Rosangela but you can call me Angie for short. I come from a small family with two very supportive parents and an amazing older brother. The family I created is a little more chaotic than that, but I wouldn’t change it for the world! It consists of myself (of course), my husband, two beautiful daughters, 2 doggies, and 6 chickens!
I am a permanent makeup artist based out of Sioux City, IA. My interest in permanent makeup started a few years ago, but I never believed I would be able to pursue it. Thanks to the support of my family, I finally decided I needed to take the first step and I booked a course with the Phi Academy. I took a live course in Chicago and continued my education online with my master Han Tran for 6 more months. It was one of the most challenging things I had ever done but also one of the most rewarding decisions I had ever made. Before Microblading I used to be very uninspired so I made the decision not to go to college until I figured what direction I wanted to take my life in.
After receiving my Phi Brows certificate I decided I wanted to start my own business and created Alchemy PMU Salon. The word alchemy holds many meanings but the one that inspired me was “A seemingly magical process of transformation, creation, or combination.” I like to believe I am a part of a transformation that enhances your natural beauty. After months of hard work I was finally able to open Alchemy on January 30, 2019. When the pandemic hit in 2020 I decided it was time to expand my business and I started Alchemy Beauty Collective. A space for other artists with similar visions to work independently, but with much support! I was able to open my doors January 1st 2021.
I plan to continue taking classes to perfect my work and learn new techniques from various artists. I also hope to expand my services in the future and offer a creative space for more talented individuals. For now, I am focusing on being the best version of myself!

MICROBLADING
What It Is:
Microblading is a manual, semi-permanent technique of hyper-realistic eyebrow drawing in which the shape of eyebrows is calculated according to facial morphology and symmetry. This technique is perfect for someone who is wanting to enhance the appearance of their eyebrows while keeping them looking as natural as possible. This is achieved by making tiny cuts into the epidermis with a fine needle mimicking eyebrow hair strands.
Recommended For:
Microblading is the most well known form of eyebrow permanent makeup gaining popularity all over the world. This technique is amazing but is not suitable for everyone. Best results for those with dry and tighter skin. Not recommended for very oily skin or mature skin. Can last on the skin up to three years; annual touch up recommended.

BLADE & SHADE
What It Is:
The Blade and shade technique uses the same steps as microblading while also adding some shading. Shading will add depth to your eyebrows and allow them to look fuller. Shading is done by machine creating a soft powder effect in between hair strokes. Blade & Shade is my most popular service due to flexibility and it gives the most natural results.
Recommended For:
I recommend this service for those who love the look of microblading but have combination/oily skin, or those who have thick hair on certain areas of the brow but not throughout. It is also great for minor cover ups. Shading can be adjusted to be as natural or as glam as you’d like! Lasts on the skin longer than microblading alone. One year touch up is recommended to freshen up color but is not necessary.

OMBRE/COMBO
What It Is:
Ombre brows look like what they sound. They start light at the head of the brow and gradually darken toward the tail. A machine is used to create a soft pixel effect. I am able to control how light or bold you would like them. They are the darkest the first few days; however, they do lighten about 30% and look very natural. To create combo brows a few hair strokes will be added at the head of the eyebrow for added detail.
Recommended For:
Ombre and Combo brows are suitable for all skin types! This is a great option for those with oily skin who aren’t able to have great results with microblading. Ombre brows is also the best option to cover up old tattoos and scars. These can last up to 3 years on the skin.
